Different than 3Gun\, PNTC 2Gun matches require competitors to use slings\, utilize close quarters skills and emphasize transition skills between rifle and handgun. YOU MUST SIGN IN OR YOU DO NOT SHOOT \nSafety Brief at Patriot Line: 2030hrs YOU MUST BE AT SAFETY BRIEF OR YOU DO NOT SHOOT \nFirst Shot: 2100hrs \nThis match is for experienced shooters who want to test their skills in the dark. The match is three stages and will require the shooter to engage targets from point blank to approximately 300yds. IF YOU HAVE NEVER SHOT UNDER NIGHT VISION\, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Show up with your equipment ready. There will NOT be opportunities to test or zero your weapons. \nANY IR or white light NDs while a shooter is under time will be grounds for immediate disqualification. \nSince most cars seem to turn their lights on when doors are opened\, shooters will not be allowed to return to their vehicles except when moving between stages. \nEquipment minimum:\nImage intensifier type\, head mounted\, night vision (no digital). Thermal is permitted but at least one eye must be using image intensified tube.\nLOW POWERED admin light\, IR or visible red\, for target reset and other similar tasks.\nMeans for attaching a chem light to the dorsal surface\, at or above belt line (helmet or plate carrier ok).\nHearing & Eye protection\nRange bag that accomodates all kit/ammo needed for three stages.\nSemi-auto rifle up to .308Win with appropriate sling. We suggest some sort of IR illumination on the rifle. Passive aiming will be difficult at distance without illumination. IR lasers/active aiming are OK.\nSemi-auto pistol or revolver 9mm/.38SPL minimum.
