DESCRIPTION:Is long range shooting truly as difficult to learn as you have heard? Not when you are training with the best! \nDuring this course individuals will receive knowledge and training for the specialized requirements involved with long range shooting. \nPeacemaker National Training Center offers an edge to the student interested in long range competition shooting\, recreational shooting\, or open country shooting. This course will cover rifles\, ammo\, optics\, accessories\, shooting techniques\, ballistics\, and shooting systems including MOA\, Milrad\, and yardage-based systems. Students will take away from this course a wide based understanding of various precision rifle systems and how to use them efficiently while training on our nationally recognized one-thousand-yard range perched at high altitude in the Appalachian Mountains. \nCheck-in: 8:45 AM \nEligibility: Open to the public (members receive a discount) \nPre-Requisites:  N/A \nRequired Equipment:  \n\nRifle .223 to .30 cal. zeroed at 100 or 200 yards\, with a scope capable of dialing up for long range\n40-60 rds of the same match grade ammo the rifle is zeroed for\nFront bag and/or bipod\, rear bag\nAppropriate range attire\nPersonal protective equipment: eye protection\, ear protection\, and brimmed hat

Students will receive the knowledge they need to begin making first round hits on small targets at ranges out to 1\,000 yards. \nTime: 9:00AM – 4:00PM \nCheck-in: 8:45AM \nEligibility: Members and Non-Members welcome \nPre-Requisites: Level 1 or equivalent experience \nRequired Equipment: Rifle\, rifle case\, 50\, 100\, or 200 yd Zero\, Scope with exposed turrets for dialing\, 50 rounds of the same ammunition the rifle was zeroed with\, Bi-Pod or front shooting bag\, rear shooting bag\, hearing and eye protection\, ballistic calculator app\, and optional: range finder\, spotting scope\, Kestrel\, chronograph\, shooting mat.
