DESCRIPTION:This course will expound information covered in Level 1\, including ammo\, optics\, rifles\, MILs\, MOA\, and yardage-based systems. Additionally\, this course will begin to cover in depth wind reading techniques\, shooting from field positions\, and trueing the shooters data at long range. Students will receive the knowledge they need to begin making first round hits on small targets at ranges out to 1\,000 yards. \nCheck-in: 8:45AM \nEligibility: Members and Non-Members welcome \nPre-Requisites: Level 1 or equivalent experience \nRequired Equipment: Rifle\, rifle case\, 50\, 100\, or 200 yd Zero\, Scope with exposed turrets for dialing\, 50 rounds of the same ammunition the rifle was zeroed with\, Bi-Pod or front shooting bag\, rear shooting bag\, hearing and eye protection\, ballistic calculator app\, and optional: range finder\, spotting scope\, Kestrel\, chronograph\, shooting mat.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the evolution of the defensive handgun match. American Defender takes the defensive elements of IDPA and injects them with the high-octane speed and target density of USPSA. This isn’t just about standing behind a barricade – it’s about explosive movement\, aggressive target transitions\, and maintaining critical accuracy under the stress. Utilizing a wide array of steel\, paper\, and moving targets\, this match offers something to challenge every level of shooter. \nThe simplified rules and straight-forward divisions make this a good match for those new to competition or those who simply want to add a new level to their training. \nNOTE: This match will also have a separate Sunday offering. Scores will be combined and posted on Sunday afternoon.
