Handgun Competition Level 1
With our involvement in the shooting sports, we recognize that newer shooters interested in Handgun Competition are often confused by the differences between today’s competitive handgun match disciplines. During this six hour course of instruction students will learn the differences between USPSA, Steel Challenge, Falling Steel and/or IDPA.
Students will also learn to draw from the holster safely, reload, shoot from various positions including the use of barricades, windows, etc. Students will also shoot an actual match course/s of fire similar to ones they might find in USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge, Bianchi Cup or Falling steel.
Students will end the day on our incredible Laser Shot Simulator and will shoot USPSA courses of fire on the simulator!
Students should bring their own safe and serviceable handgun, either revolver or pistol, in a caliber of .45, .40, 9mm, at least two extra magazines or speed-loaders and belt carriers for the same, a holster and sturdy belt.
